Yanxing David Ding is an innovation leader and problem solver with over 13 years of experience in business development, partnership development, and community building across various industries. He is currently the Head of Grants Office and Innovation Practice, as well as the Regional FinTech, Ecosystems & Innovation lead at DBS Innovation Group, where he mentors and coaches startups, leads hackathons, and drives long-term innovation strategies and roadmaps. David is a lean startup practitioner with a passion for business model optimization, customer development, and validation. He has validated business models that attracted angels and institutional funding in industries such as IT solutions, gaming, e-commerce, big data, social media, and healthcare. He is also a connector and community developer, having organized and developed a number of industrial communities, conferences, and events in different cities. David's personal mission is to help and change people's lives, and he is driven by an entrepreneurial mindset. He was co-founder of Techyizu, a Shanghai-based volunteer-driven organization that supports the China startups and tech community, where he organized community events such as BarCamp Shanghai, DesignINg Shanghai, Demo Day, Lean Startup, FailFast, and HackYizu. He was also the Beijing Co-founder & Curator for Startup Digest, where he organized weekly startup events in Beijing. David holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the National University of Singapore, where he majored in BioMedical Engineering and minored in Technopreneurship.
